As we gear up for CES 2025, we’re excited to share a series of interviews with some of the incredible leaders driving innovation at XREAL. This series highlights the talented individuals behind the scenes, shaping the future of augmented reality technology.Today, we’re introducing Jon Li, the U.S. General Manager at XREAL. Jon plays a pivotal role in leading our U.S. team in Sunnyvale, California, focusing on business development and partnerships. His mission? To get XREAL AR glasses onto the faces of users across the country and beyond.

Question: Who are you, and what do you do at XREAL ?
Jon Li: I am the U.S. General Manager leading our US team here in Sunnyvale, California. My primary focus is on business development, partnerships, and finding ways to get our products on to everyone's faces.
Question: What is, in your opinion, the most exciting development from this year (2024)?
Jon Li: By far the most exciting development this year is the announcement of Android XR. While Apple's Vision Pro and Meta's Project Orion were exciting, the developer ecosystem and development environment that Google brings to the table is going to fundamentally change the mixed reality landscape.
Question: In your role, what are you bringing to CES 2025?
Jon Li: While we've seen some initial success in terms of market awareness, we are far from being a household name. At CES, I am looking forward to letting more people know about our offerings. I am eager to meet those who seek the best AR glasses on the market and are ready to embrace the next revolution in computing.
Question: What’s your favorite XREAL device of all time?
Jon Li: My favorite XREAL device has to be the ONE Pro. Because of the X1 chip, we're now able to truly plug and play into any USB C port and have anchored screens in the physical world. This is fundamentally going to change how we use our laptops, phones, and gaming devices.

Question: What’s something outside of the XREAL booth that you’re hoping to see or learn more about at CES 2025?
Jon Li: I believe we'll see a ton of new AI glasses. I'm excited to see what use cases and product variations companies come up with to try and find a relevant market.
